The objective of this research was to verify the potential rhizogenic stem cuttings and root of raspberry (Rubus idaeusL.). Cuttings of 'Batum' cultivar was stored cold (4°C) for 10, 20 and 30 days, and a control without storage. Subsequently, the cuttings were treated with indolebutyric acid (IBA) at 0, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000mg L-1 and root cuttings with benzylaminopurine (BAP) at 0, 300, 600, 900, 1200 and 1500mg L-1 by 10 seconds. The cuttings were buried in 2/3 of its length in the vertical position, and root was completely buried in the horizontal position at three inches deep. RESUMO O cambucizeiro (Campomanesia phaea), pertencente à família Myrtaceae, é uma planta nativa da Mata Atlântica brasileira. A descrição das características dos frutos de cambucizeiro é importante para subsidiar novos trabalhos de melhoramento genético e sua exploração comercial, principalmente no que tange ao processamento dos frutos. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar a caracterização morfológica e química de frutos de cambucizeiro. ABSTRACT: Plum growing is widespread in temperate zones. In Brazil, the exploitation of this fruit tree is extended from the colder regions of the state of Rio Grande do Sul to the south of the state of Minas Gerais. However, cultivars exploited at subtropical regions are scarce due to competition. The present study aimed to select productive cultivars of plums adapted to Brazilian subtropical conditions. ABSTRACT In order to ensure success in controlled hybridizations in olive tree cultivation, the information on pollen viability and stigma receptivity is essential. The aim was to establish methodologies that increase the preservation of pollen viability and to establish the time to perform crossbreeds in hybridization studies with olive trees. Three experiments were performed with plants from the cultivar Arbequina, in Maria da Fé, MG, Brazil. In the first experiment, the description of the flower events was performed.
